Our Vision
"There's an app for that." - But it's not your app...Our goal is to build a program that can help people at any skill level start learning about building their own apps and turning their ideas into reality with instructor led courses and online training webinars and videos.
Technology is constantly changing. We want to help people keep up with the "mobile" device side of it.Mobile application development is the process by which application software is developed for small low-power handheld devices such as personal digital assistants, enterprise digital assistants or mobile phones. These applications are either pre-installed on phones during manufacture, or downloaded by customers from various mobile software distribution platforms.
Ever since the Apple iPhone came out and people started talking about it, it's completely changed the way we think of smartphones. An iPhone can function as a video camera (video recording was not a standard feature until the iPhone 3GS was released), a camera phone, a portable media player, and an Internet client with email and web browsing capabilities, can send texts and receive visual voicemail, and has both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity. The user interface is built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard rather than a physical one. Third-party as well as Apple application software is available from the App Store, which launched in mid-2008 and now has over 500,000 "apps" approved by Apple. These apps have diverse functions, including games, reference, GPS navigation, social networking, security and advertising for television shows, films, and celebrities.
Now, many other companies are marketing their devices trying to keep up with Apple's rapidly growing market demand...and the so is the rest of the world.
